COVID-19 FAQ's

After just a couple of weeks, the COVID-19 pandemic has already had a dramatic impact on our community.  As it continues to spread, we anticipate that the need for mental health support and treatment will only grow.

At YFC, we remain steadfast in our commitment to open doors to mental healthcare for people from all walks of life.  Here are some of the things we are doing to help people access our professional counseling services during this national emergency.

  • YFC remains open and will continue to provide counseling services in order to meet the needs of our clients and community.
  • We are no longer offering in-person sessions. To protect the health of our clients and staff, we are only offering teletherapy services via a HIPPA compliant platform.
  • We are accepting new clients for teletherapy.
  • We continue to make our services affordable by billing insurance whenever possible and offering fee subsidies. 

This pandemic is causing stress, anxiety and trauma throughout our community, and I am proud of how YFC has responded.  Just as our clients know that they can count on us to help them through this crisis, I hope that YFC can count on you to help sustain us financially.  We need your support now more than ever before!

Please take steps to maintain your own mental health, and know that YFC is a part of this community’s support network, able and ready to serve.
