Unbridled Hope

Power Tools for Living - Equine Therapy Program

What does this do??

Unbridled Hope is YFC's new equine-assisted group experience, offered at Walk On Farm in Barrington.

The program uses the EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) model of equine-assisted therapy in which participants observe and interact with horses from the ground. (Horseback riding is not part of this program.) Unbridled Hope offers participants an experiential learning designed to strengthen social and emotional intelligence, increase resilience, improve coping skills, self-regulation, goal-setting, team building, conflict resolution and bullying awareness.

The 8-week program is open to high school students entering grades 9, 10 or 11 in the fall of 2018.
